White Card - New South Wales

Under the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017 (WHS Regulation), SafeWork NSW recognises all interstate General Construction Induction Training (GIT) cards issued under corresponding Work Health and Safety legislation as well as a range of cards issued under previous arrangements.

Inscope's White Card course is accepted in every state/territory in Australia.

All states and territories have agreed to implement the National Code of Practice for Induction For Construction Work which has been declared by Safe Work Australia.

The result is a nationally consistent approach to construction induction training given to workers across Australia.

Why do some people get another state's White Card?

Several states do not allow you to complete your White Card course online, or may not allow you to receive the card unless you live in that state.

However the QLD and WA White Card is recognised in all Australian States and Territories and you do not need to live in QLD or WA to receive it.
