The White Card course is delivered differently in each state to comply with the State Regulator requirements.
WA and Tasmania White Card Course
You MUST reside in WA or Tasmania at the time you are completing the course.
The theory is delivered online via a series of videos and multichoice questions. Upon completion of the theory, you will be required to turn on your webcam to deliver your verbal communication assessments and PPE demonstration. The
assessment and demonstration will be viewed by our trainers. If there is problems with the recording or you have not successfully completed the assessment and/or demonstration our trainers will notify you by email.
Queensland White Card course
You MUST reside in Queensland at the time you are completing the course.
The theory for this course will be provided to you by your trainer using the Zoom web conferencing app. When you enrol, you will be sent an email with the date and time of your course, and also a link to the Zoom meeting. You must
join the Zoom meeting 15 minutes before the scheduled start.
For students attending our face-to-face class at our Capalaba Training Centre, we will set you up on our computers for assessment but your Trainer will deliver and be present in the room. Doors open from 7am and you must arrive no later than 7.15 am.
During the course presentation you will need to be visible to our trainer at all times. The class will last 4.5 - 6 hours, so it is a good idea to connect your device to a charger if you booked into our virtual classroom. You will be assessed based on the information provided in the course, so make sure you pay attention at all times!. You have 3 attempts to answer each assessment question correctly to successfully complete this course.
Your trainer will provide two 10-minute breaks during the course.
At the completion of the theory part of the course, you will be required to answer the written assessment. For our virtual classes your trainer will invite you to join a virtual breakout room to conduct your oral assessments and PPE demonstration. Your trainer will also verify your identification documents at this time, so make sure you have them handy.
New South Wales White Card course
The regulator states you MUST be physically in NSW at the time you attend a NSW White Card course.
The good news is that we delivery our NSW White Card course face-to-face in a classroom with the trainer present in the room (NOT via virtual classroom). The class will run for 6 hours with two x 30 minute breaks.
During the 6 hours the trainers will present learning material and assess participants with the mandated assessments which includes a series of multiple choice and short answer questions, questions requiring oral responses, completing a form, and demonstrating the correct fitting of PPE. Inscope Training will provide all necessary learning and assessment materials including PPE.
Upon successful completion, you will be issued with a Statement of Training (SOT) and your White Card application lodged with SafeWork NSW (SafeWork NSW will post your White Card within 14 days).
Inscope Training expects all students to adhere to the behaviour and discipline requirements as outlined in our Short Course Student Guide.
