About our White Card QLD course
COURSE OVERVIEW
If you work on a construction site in Australia, then you need to complete an accredited General Construction Induction Training (GCIT) course (CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry).
Upon successful completion, you will be issued with a white card which you will present at site inductions. It’s proof that you’ve learnt how to work safely on a construction jobsite.
HOW AND WHERE YOU 'LL LEARN
This course is delivered either live online via Microsoft Teams or face-to-face at our Capalaba Training Centre.
Our experienced trainer will guide you through interactive lessons featuring videos, images, and real-life scenarios to keep you engaged and help you retain key information.
You’ll complete a knowledge assessment using our learning management system, which includes 50 multiple choice and short answer questions, plus a hazard report form.
To wrap up, you’ll join a breakout session to answer verbal questions and demonstrate correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). If you book a virtual class, you MUST have access to personal protective equipment (PPE).
And yes—regular breaks are included, so you’ll have time to grab a coffee or a bite to eat!
For further information about GCIT cards (white cards) visit the WorkSafe Queensland website.
